Are Vitamins good?

Thousands of new discoveries are made every single day, and you had better believe that no doctor has the time to keep up with all of the latest research, especially if they are a general practitioner and need to know about all of the body's systems and keep up with what the latest drug reports are. Who has time to read up on vitamins(Vitatrol)? Also keep in mind - no drug rep will ever visit a doctor to sell them a vitamin. There just isnt any money in it. That doesn't make vitamins any less valuable though. If nothing else, vitamins are one of the most beneficial supplements you could take. Literally hundreds of thousands of clinical studies on vitamins have been published, and the benefits of vitamins should not be ignored simply because nobody is directly selling them to you.

While a great many medical professionals read this site for information, we have "translated" every single of the hundreds of medical studies you see here into plain english so that the general public can - for the first time - be introduced to the latest cutting edge research that our world has discovered. With the power of the Internet, and the work of scores of people, this information is available to you completely free of charge.

Instead of wading through extremely thick and almost unintelligible clinical studies, or waiting ten or more years for research findings to reach your doctors office, take a look at what medical science has discovered now about your favorite vitamins and supplements. Feel free to print these out and show them to your medical professional, and ask them to do their own research. They may even learn a thing or two they did not know before. Remember, doctors are generally taught how to treat diseases with drugs (disease --> treatment) and they know the basics about vitamins, but they may not be aware of the powerful preventative effects that vitamins have on the body. Why would they, when they barely have enough time to see their patients in between their family life and visits with drug reps?

Try this the next time you are with your doctor. Ask them if they are aware of a strong link between high doses of vitamin C and vitamin E and a highly decreased incidence (occurrence) of Alzheimer Disease? If yours does, then you should be thankful that your doctor is more on top of things than most. Many doctor's simply don't know. Don't let what they do not know hurt your body. Afterall, nobody else looks out for your well-being as much as you do.

Feel young again with GABA

When looking to feel younger and more youthful, many people will turn to Gamma Aminobutyric Acid, also known as GABA. GABA can be found in GH-ProStack.

What Is GABA?

While neurons produce it naturally, a GABA supplement can help you experience the many benefits of GABA. Without getting too scientific, GABA is an important chemical within the human brain. It is an inhibitory neurotransmitter, and as such it serves the brain by regulating the firing of neurons.

Without gamma-aminobutyric acid, your muscles would be constantly tense, your mind would never stop racing, and your overall ability to function would be severely impaired. Gaba supplements can be taken to increase this valuable resource in your body.

The GABA Supplement Experience

The sensation that gamma-aminobutyric acid gives is unique, and unlike any other commercially available natural supplement or drug. The descriptions vary from individual to individual, but the overall consensus is that there is something very special about natural GABA supplements.

Additional Information:

  • Increase in the level of Human Growth Hormones (HGH)
  • Induces relaxation and sleep
  • Reduces muscle tension
  • Reduces stress, anxiety and depression
  • Promotes well being

GABA is produced in the human brain and functions as a balancer, maintains balance between the body and the mind in states of excitation. GABA supplement aids several complications including Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder or ADHD, hypertension or HBP, obesity, insomnia, alcoholism and many more. It is also a great help in treating mental blocks.

GABA supplements are helpful for any active individuals, bodybuilders and athletes. They help in enhancing the body’s muscle mass, which is GABA’s conductive anabolic property and its lipotropic property helps in fat reduction and weight loss programs, simultaneously.

GABA can be found in GH-ProStack.

HGH and Amino Acids

HGH is very popular among young and old, but just about all HGH product carry, Arginine, and Ornitine. Both of these products are in Max HGH by Foundation Neutraceuticals.

L-arginine is a nonessential amino acid that stimulates the pituitary gland to release growth hormone. It's thought to work by blocking the hormone somatostatin. This hormone acts as a brake in the pituitary gland lowering the production and release of HGH. So lowering it greatly increases HGH in the body.

The other benefits of L-arginine supplementation include reduction of cardiovascular disease and lowering blood pressure. It also gives the immune system a boost by stimulating T-lymphocyte. Arginine is also well know for increasing sperm count and sexual functioning.

Arginine is found naturally in beans, seeds, chocolate, oats and grains. It is considered nonessential because the human body can manufacture it's own when needed. However, stress and trauma can reduce the bodies production and cause L-arginine to become an essential amino acid.

A typical dose of L-Arginine to promote HGH release is between 6 and 10 grams taken once at night on an empty stomach. . Some have been known to exceed this dose to gain even greater effects. Start with a lower dose and note the effects. You can then increase if needed.

L-Ornithine is an amino acid that is often used by bodybuilders and fitness enthusiasts to produce the Human Growth Hormone (HGH) from the pituitary gland. L-Ornithine supplementation is meant to assist in the production of urea which is necessary for body detoxification purposes. Because L-Ornithine helps release the HGH hormones, it can help the body with the metabolism of fat and cell rejuvenation. A combination of the amino acids L-Ornithine and L-Arginine have been shown to assist in increased muscle strength.

Because L-Ornithine assists in the production of human growth hormone, it is taken to gain muscle mass by many bodybuilders. This amino acid is also helpful in wound healing and collagen production because of the detoxification properties it encourages and the increased protein synthesis. L-Ornithine is most often combined with Arginine for their synergistic properties.

EPHEDRINE WARNING

EPHEDRINE WARNING: This drug should not be used in combination with other stimulant products (e.g., caffeine), other cough-and-cold products, or as a dietary supplement for the purpose of weight loss or body building. Doing so may increase your risk of unlikely but potentially fatal side effects including: stroke, heart attack, seizures, or severe mental disorders (see Side Effects section and Precautions section). In addition, dietary supplements containing ephedrine should not exceed 8 mg as a single ephedrine dose, 24 mg of ephedrine per day (24 hours), or be given for longer than 7 days, as recommended by the FDA. Exceeding the recommended ephedrine dose increases your risk of the side effects noted above. For detailed information, consult your pharmacist. Check all product labels carefully to see if they contain ephedrine or ephedra/ma huang.

USES: Ephedrine is a central nervous system stimulant used to treat breathing problems (as a bronchodilator), nasal congestion (as a decongestant), low blood pressure problems (orthostatic hypotension), or myasthenia gravis.

OTHER USES: This drug has also been used to treat certain sleep disorders (narcolepsy), menstrual problems (dysmenorrhea), or urine-control problems (incontinence or enuresis).

HOW TO USE: Take this medication by mouth usually every 4 hours as needed; or as directed by your doctor. The dosage is based on your medical condition and response to therapy. For prescription ephedrine, do not exceed 150 mg per day in adults or 75 mg per day in children. Do not combine prescription ephedrine with ephedrine/ephedra/ma huang from dietary supplement products, since they are the same medicine. Use this medication exactly as prescribed. Do not increase your dose, take it more frequently, or use it for a longer period of time than prescribed because this drug can be habit-forming and you may increase for your risk for serious side effects. When used for an extended period, this medication may not work as well and may require different dosing. Talk with your doctor if this medication stops working well. Your doctor may recommend "drug holidays" where your medication is stopped temporarily. Doing so may help this medication work more effectively.

Ephedrine Side Effects

Ephedrine is a medication used for relieving congestion due to cold, flu, hay fever and allergies. It is used to treat symptoms of bronchial asthma such as shortness of breath, wheezing and chest tightness. Apart from that, ephedrine is used for orthostatic hypotension, myasthenia gravis, menstrual problems (dysmenorrhea), narcolepsy (sleep disorder) and problems with urination such as incontinence or enuresis.

Ephedrine is taken orally, usually one capsule or tablet on every 4 hours or as ordered by your physician. Dose for adults shouldn’t be over 150mg per day and for children 75 mg per day. Take ephedrine regularly and if you skip a dose do not take two doses at once. Ephedrine should not be taken in combination dietary supplements containing ephedrine/ephedra/ma huang because they are the same medication.

Ephedrine should not be used for extended period of time or in higher doses than prescribed because you may develop addiction. This can additionally increase the risk of adverse effects and ephedrine will lose its effect. This problem can be solved by temporarily discontinuing the drug.

Ephedrine Side Effects

Common side effects of ephedrine include nervousness or anxiety, dizziness, loss of appetite, headache, weakness, nausea, and trouble sleeping. If these ephedrine adverse effects occur, persist or become bothersome consult your doctor.

You shouldn’t take ephedrine if you are allergic to this drug. Before using ephedrine, you should notify your doctor if you are pregnant or breast-feeding.

Interactions

Some medicines interact with ephedrine. Caffeine, epinephrine, mehylphenidate and pseudoephedrine should not be taken along with ephedrine. MAO inhibitors must be stopped at least two week before taking ephedrine. Beta-blockers such as metoprolol and propranolol may increase side effects of ephedrine. Other medications that interact with ephedrine include:blood pressure medications, tricyclic antidepressants, rauwolfia derivates (e.g., reserpine) and certain herbal remedies such as ma huang or St John’s wort.

Guaifenesin/ephedrine

Guaifenesin/ephedrine liquid is used for the temporary relief of wheezing and chest tightness caused by mild asthma. It is rarely used today because there are safer and more effective medications (such as albuterol and ipratropium inhalers) to treat asthma symptoms. It is also used to treat coughs due to respiratory infections (such as the common cold), especially when the cough has a lot of mucus. This product is generally not used for an ongoing cough from smoking or long-term breathing problems (such as chronic bronchitis, emphysema) unless directed by your doctor.

Ephedrine is a stimulant (sympathomimetic). It works by relaxing airways to make breathing easier. Guaifenesin is an expectorant. It works by thinning and loosening mucus in the airways, clearing congestion, and making breathing easier.

Cough-and-cold products have not been shown to be safe or effective in children younger than 6 years. Therefore, do not use this product to treat cold symptoms in children younger than 6 years unless specifically directed by the doctor. Some products (such as long-acting tablets/capsules) are not recommended for use in children younger than 12 years. Ask your doctor or pharmacist for more details about using your product safely.

These products do not cure or shorten the length of the common cold and may cause serious side effects. To decrease the risk for serious side effects, carefully follow all dosage directions. Do not give other cough-and-cold medication that might contain the same or similar ingredients (see also Drug Interactions section). Ask the doctor or pharmacist about other ways to relieve cough and cold symptoms (such as drinking enough fluids, using a humidifier or saline nose drops/spray).

How to use Ephedrine-Guaifenesin Oral

Take this medication by mouth, usually every 4 hours or as directed by your doctor. If stomach upset occurs, take with food or milk. Drink plenty of fluids while taking this medication unless otherwise directed by your doctor. Fluids will help to break up mucus and clear congestion.

Dosage is based on your age, medical condition and response to treatment. Do not increase your dose or take this drug more often than recommended.

Carefully measure the dose using a special measuring device/spoon. Do not use a household spoon because you may not get the correct dose.

Seek immediate medical attention if your wheezing does not improve or worsens within 1 hour. You may be having a serious (possibly fatal) asthma attack.

Caffeine can increase the side effects of this medication. Avoid drinking large amounts of beverages containing caffeine (coffee, tea, colas) eating large amounts of chocolate, or taking nonprescription products that contain caffeine.

When this medication is used for a long time, it may not work as well. Do not increase your dose. Talk with your doctor if this medication stops working well. You may need a different medication.

Along with its benefits, this medication may rarely cause abnormal drug-seeking behavior (addiction). This risk may be increased if you have abused alcohol or drugs in the past. Take this medication exactly as prescribed to lessen the risk of addiction.

Tell your doctor if you develop a fever, severe sore throat, rash, persistent headache, your symptoms worsen/return, or if your symptoms do not improve after 7 days. These may be signs of a serious medical problem.

Bronchodilator

Many people who have breathing problems turn to ephedrine. Ephedrine, is a product that is a bronchodilator, meaning it helps to expand the lungs causing better breathing. Many people use Ephedrine as a fat burner but its original use was for breathing. Guaifenesin/ephedrine liquid is used for the temporary relief of wheezing and chest tightness caused by mild asthma.
